Restoration Projects
One of my favorite restoration projects was the restoration of a rare 1902 tabletop letterpress. During the restoration process, I learned about the manufacturing process of the letterpress used at the turn of the century. I also restored three other tabletop letterpresses:
- A 1927 Chandler-Price
- A 1940s Chandler-Price
- A 1966 Kelsey
Other restoration projects include the restoration of lawn ornaments such as Gnomes, an American eagle, and religious statues and symbols.
The restoration process only uses products that are safe to use on the project and I take great cared to prevent damage to any of my restorations. When I work on a restoration, I feel like I am giving new life to something old.

If you have a memory that you would like incorporated into your own location, you can commission the artist for custom work. We would be happy to discuss how your memories can become part of your window screens or screen doors. We can paint screens at your business, cabin, lake home, job site, or at our studios in central Minnesota.
